I have been bitter quite some time
Being pulled from plans of mine
Broken dreams of skies and seas
To fly and finally earn my wings
Buffett days have gone away
But I will always love the Bay -
Ultralights low in flight
Crabs and beer by candle light
The scent of salty air I miss
Grass strip fields and simpleness
I'm on my way, I'm almost done
With this college and everyone
I do not blame my Texas fate
For here I have found a mate
We'll go back home and fly again
Buy a float kit and a rotax twin
Build our plane from love of sport
And teach our kids that lifes too short
