When I was doing the commentary for Air Spectaculat...Ireland's major annual Air
Display at Baldonnel military airport, near Dublin, the atrocious weather conditions
were playing havoc with the schedule. We, in commentary, had little idea as to what
aircraft were due to perform next, so my co-commentator called the Show Director on
walkie talkie and pleaded for information.
"The Fournier Duo are next" said the Show Director,"they're powered
gliders that perform a ballet in the sky to the music of Pink Flyod".
"How many of them are there"???? asked my co-commentator.
"Three", was the reply.
