British Humor:
Recently while flying over London, England, I was marverling at how busy the controllers were.
Those guys handle a lot of traffic and are always
very pleasant and have a good sense of humor.
Ergo, right in the middle of vectoring a handful
of airplanes to three different airports some
airliner spoke up: ".....Ladies and gentlemen we
are starting our descent for Heathrow, where we
will be landing in 27 minutes. The weather in
London at the moment is blah blah blah......" To
which the controller answered as kind and
professional as could be: "That is nice, now go
tell your passengers, break, Airline1234 turn
left, radar heading XXX, call London 129.75 with
your heading"
