Little Ocmulgee State Park provides recreation and a bountiful wildlife habitat in a 1,397-acre preserve along the Little Ocmulgee River just north of McRae, Georgia. The Telfair-Wheeler Airport (MQW) is located on site with 100LL avgas available 24hrs with credit card. Featured attractions at the park are the 265-acre lake, 18-hole golf course, 58 tent, trailer and RV sites near the lake, 10 cottages on the lake shore, 30-room Pete Phillips lodge adjacent to golf course (with restaurant), conference facilities, pool and tennis courts, 2 tennis courts and pool in day-use area, 6 picnic shelters, Group shelter, Group camp and pioneer camp, and a 2.3-mile nature trail
